An avid doodler since day one, I was constantly getting in trouble as a kid in elementary for filling up the margins of my assignments with zany characters and abstract sketches. One teacher even complained to my mom about it, in which she responded, “he’s still getting greaet grades, so I don’t see the problem…”
Doodling stimulates the mind and frees up areas of free thinking and abstract thought, enabling you to learn more effectively, reduce stress, process emotions, improve your memory, and increase creativity.
Over the years I have collected many notebooks brimming with my crazy characters, scenes and silliness. It’s always been how I feel I can best express myself or simply be me.
